                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO APPROVE A ZONING STUDY FOR AN ANNEXATION
                   AREA ON CERTAIN PROPERTIES ADJACENT TO
                   CHICKAMAUGA AND CHATTANOOGA NATIONAL MILITARY
                   PARK ON THE ESCARPMENT OF LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN
                   LYING CONTIGUOUS TO THE PRESENT CORPORATE
                   LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to approve a zoning study for an annexation area 
on
         the following:
             
              Certain properties adjacent to Chickamauga and
              Chattanooga National Military Park on the escarpment of
              Lookout Mountain lying contiguous to the present
              corporate limits of the City of Chattanooga.  The area
              consists of parcel 15, Hunnicutt Map 154, and all road
              rights-of-way which are contiguous to parcel 15, plus
              any rights-of-way which are within parcel 15 as annexed
              by the City of Chattanooga by Ordinance No. 10156.
        
         from Temporary R-1 to R-1.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
